Fashion designer Rick Owens has extended his creative reach beyond apparel, unveiling a four-piece oral-care collection developed with luxury brand Selahatin.
The lineup features a whitening toothpaste, mouthwash, concentrated mouth spray, and a handcrafted toothbrush made from natural materials.
The partnership began in an unusual way. Owens noticed a Selahatin advertisement that quoted him praising the brand’s bold aesthetic. Intrigued, he contacted the company to propose a collaboration.
Owens said the project reflects his philosophy of thoughtful minimalism. “I believe in the idea that you don’t need to have many things, but that essential things should be made special,” he noted.
The collection blends Owens’ stark, sculptural sensibility with Selahatin’s high-end approach, marking a distinctive crossover between fashion and personal care.
