Planmeca Unveils Viso G1: Advanced Dental Equipment for 3D Imaging and Enhanced Workflow

Planmeca has launched the Viso G1, its latest dental imaging system, combining cutting-edge 3D imaging technology with essential dental procedures.

This system, built on over 20 years of Planmeca research in CBCT imaging, offers versatile functionality to meet the daily needs of general dentistry, endodontics, and implantology.

The Viso G1 offers panoramic, 3D dental, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) imaging, integrating all essential imaging procedures into one system.

It is equipped with the latest sensor technology and features a quick-access skull fixation device for cranial measurements and orthodontic planning.

The system’s robust construction and 90 kV tubehead ensure reliable, high-quality imaging, even under heavy workloads.

Designed with patient comfort in mind, the system’s open frame reduces discomfort in confined spaces and allows the patient to face the user throughout the procedure.

The virtual patient function simplifies field of view selection, and the imaging volume can be adjusted after positioning. The system offers a field of view of up to 11 x 11 cm and features Planmeca CALM and Planmeca Ulatr low-dose options to minimize radiation exposure without compromising image quality.

The Viso G1 seamlessly integrates with Planmeca Romexis software, providing all the tools necessary for diagnosis and treatment planning.

The software’s AI tools enhance daily workflow, while the Viso G1 can also be connected to Planmeca Insights for predictive maintenance and performance optimization.

“We are proud of the Viso G1’s advanced imaging and usability innovations, which demonstrate that the Planmeca Viso series offers the highest-quality CBCT capabilities, meeting all clinical needs in oral and maxillofacial care,” said Timo Müller, Vice President of Planmeca X-ray.
