New Dental Clinic Excel Endodontics Opens in Marlboro, NJ Offering Advanced Root Canal Care

Excel Endodontics, a new dental practice founded by endodontist Dr. Rachel Halpern, has officially opened in Marlborough, New Jersey, and has also launched its website.

Founded in 2025, the practice specializes in advanced endodontic treatments designed to preserve teeth, relieve pain, and ensure a comfortable patient experience.

Dr. Halpern, an experienced root canal specialist trained in microsurgery, leads the practice with a patient-centered approach.

She graduated cum laude from Muhlenberg College, earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dentistry, and completed a two-year endodontic residency at New York University College of Dentistry. She is a Fellow of the American Association of Endodontists (AAS) and is board certified in endodontics.

“The launch of Excel Endodontics and the launch of our website mark an exciting milestone,” said Dr. Halpern. “Our goal is to provide advanced root canal treatment in a supportive and caring environment. This website is designed to help patients and referring dentists learn more about our services and techniques.”

The clinic offers a range of services, including root canal treatment, follow-up appointments, microsurgery (such as apicoectomies), dental trauma care, pediatric endodontics, root resorption treatment, internal bleaching, and emergency endodontic treatment.

Dr. Halpern has received national recognition for her research on externally invasive root resorption, which was presented at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Endodontics and published in the February 2025 issue of the Journal of Endodontics.

She is also actively involved in professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society, and the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.
