For those with sensitive gums, moderate water pressure can help remove plaque. Those with braces can also use the orthodontic nozzle or the gentle cloud nozzle mode. Standard water pressure combined with the standard nozzle is sufficient to remove loose food particles and some plaque between teeth.
The battery life is excellent—rated at 90 days. I’ve used it daily since I bought it four months ago and only charged it once. The removable lower half also makes it easy to clean. While it may develop mildew slightly in humid environments, cleaning it every one or two weeks is sufficient to prevent it.
