MAX Surgical Specialty Management (“MAX” or the “Company”), a leading support platform for oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMS), today announced the expansion of its Pennsylvania presence through two new partnerships, strengthening its presence in Greater Philadelphia and Lancaster County.
These new partners expand MAX’s network in the state to four leading oral surgery groups, encompassing a total of six practices, all led by experienced surgeons committed to innovative oral surgery techniques and improved patient outcomes.
Following the addition of Lititz Oral Surgery in 2024 and Rothman and Kim Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2025, MAX continues to attract platform-level clinical partners seeking authenticity, autonomy, and surgical excellence.
The latest additions include the Greater Philadelphia Oral Surgery Group, led by renowned DMD Robert Mogyoros.
Dr. Mogyoros has pioneered research in bone regeneration and transplantation, with his work published in leading journals and textbooks. He has presented the latest advances in bone transplantation and dental implantology at numerous international and national conferences.
Another new member is the Lebanon and Lancaster Oral Surgery Group, led by board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. James P. Murphy.
A veteran of the US Army and Air Force, Dr. Murphy has extensive clinical and teaching experience.
His compassionate approach and mentorship at prestigious institutions such as Walter Reed Medical Center have made him a leading force in the surgical field in the region.
“Surgeons choose MAX because it offers a unique support system tailored for surgeons by surgeons,” said Dr. Jason M. Auerbach, Founder and Co-CEO of MAX.
“Dr. Mogyoros and Dr. Murphy are not only renowned in their respective fields but also deeply trusted in their communities. We are honored to have them join the MAX family.”
Pennsylvania remains a key strategic market for MAX, thanks to its extensive referral network, growing population, and proximity to top OMS training programs such as the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Pittsburgh, and Temple University.
Dr. Murphy stated, “I was looking for a partner who deeply understands our heritage and can help us stay ahead of the rapidly evolving industry.”
Dr. Mogyoros added, “MAX’s deep understanding of the regional market and commitment to personalized support were key factors in our selection. This partnership will further build on our years of hard work and achievements.”
