Made of high-quality birch, the 3Wedge is designed with a triangular cross-section that significantly enhances the wedge’s fit while helping to stabilize the matrix band. This structure helps achieve more effective interdental separation and ensures more accurate positioning of the matrix system during the restoration process.
The product design focuses on clinical safety, combining a rounded tip and polished surface to minimize the risk of damage to soft tissues such as the gums during operation.
Directa USA said that the advantage of birch wood is that it has good flexibility and is not easy to break, providing more reliable performance in clinical applications.
3Wedge is available in four sizes – small, fine, large and extra large – to suit different patients’ tooth structures and restoration needs.
