Residents of Renfrew and nearby communities have a chance to check on their oral health this week.
The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is hosting a free community dental screening clinic at the Renfrew Library on Wednesday, August 13.
Families can attend anytime between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. No appointment is needed. Registered dental hygienists will provide visual exams and fluoride treatments.
The RCDHU will also offer the free dental screening at the Greater Madawaska Public Library in Calabogie on Thursday. The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
These events aim to help residents maintain healthy smiles and access preventive dental care without cost.
