Kohima, August 17 (MExN): A new dental facility, Faith Dental Care Clinic, was inaugurated and dedicated on August 15 at Phezoucha Colony, near the NBCC Convention Centre and opposite the Nagaland Information Commission in Kohima.
The ceremony was led by Lipoknungsang Jamir, Associate Pastor of KABA, who offered a prayer of blessing before the ribbon-cutting. In his remarks, Jamir congratulated Dr. Rongsenmenla Pongen, proprietor of the clinic, calling the venture a noble achievement. He expressed hope that the clinic would serve as “a blessing to all seeking dental care.”
Dr. Pongen, a graduate of Inderprastha Dental College and Hospital, Delhi NCR, Ghaziabad, thanked the attendees and well-wishers for their support. She said the clinic was established with the aim of providing patients comfort through professional, compassionate, and high-quality dental services. She reaffirmed her commitment to excellence in oral health care.
Welcoming the new facility, Kelhoungunyu Vizo, Chairman of Phezoucha Colony, said the locality faced a shortage of medical services. On behalf of his family and the colony, he congratulated Dr. Pongen, praised her dedication to community service, and assured full support for the initiative.
The event concluded with a benediction prayer by Shri Bendang, Pastor of New Capital Baptist Church, Phezoucha.
