New Dental Facility Brings State-of-the-Art Care to Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — Springfield Gentle Dental has opened a new state-of-the-art facility on North Limestone Street, marking the largest expansion in the practice’s 30-year history.

The 10,000-square-foot clinic features 18 treatment rooms and advanced technology, including digital imaging tools and dental lasers.

The new equipment will allow the practice to expand its services and provide more precise care for patients.

Dr. Rohit Nezhad, owner of Springfield Gentle Dental, said the goal was to create a patient-centered space that feels different from a traditional dental office.

“My goal is to give people the best dental experience possible,” Nezhad said. “I don’t want them to feel like they’re at the dentist. I want them at ease.”

The project took more than four years from planning to completion. After returning to Springfield in 2018, Nezhad worked in his father’s practice before buying it in 2020. Soon after, he decided a new facility was needed to meet growing demand.

“One thing I noticed is we were losing a lot of dentists in Springfield,” Nezhad said. “There was demand, and our old office wasn’t going to meet it.”

Nezhad personally designed much of the facility, drawing inspiration from resorts, hotels, and high-end medical offices. The result is a modern practice with mood lighting, a redesigned waiting area, and expanded clinical services.

“This practice is open to all,” Nezhad said. “We accept most major insurance. I wanted to build something that looks elite but is accessible to everybody.”

The new office also expands aesthetic services. Preeti Nezhad, the practice’s aesthetician, said the additional hygienists and equipment will allow them to treat a wider range of needs, including age spots, wrinkles, and even snoring.

“It will be such a blessing for people who didn’t have access to care, especially now that so many dentists are retiring,” she said. “This is Rohit’s passion. He loves dentistry and helping people feel confident about their smile.”

For Dr. Kayvon Nezhad, who founded the practice in 1993, the opening of the new facility was an emotional moment. He started with a two-room office on Harding Road before moving to Limestone North a decade later.

“It makes me emotional to see him continue something I started,” the elder Nezhad said. “We now have the space and equipment to provide the highest level of care to the Springfield community.”

The new clinic, he added, represents a long-term commitment to patients.

“We invested in state-of-the-art equipment for Springfield,” Kayvon Nezhad said. “We feel grateful to be able to offer this level of care here.”

For Rohit Nezhad, the expansion is the realization of a long-standing dream.

“I couldn’t have done it without everyone’s help,” he said. “This was not a solo project. The staff and all those who supported us gave more than expected to make something truly special for Springfield.”
