Starting September 8, 2025, students in grades K through 12 at Glenns Ferry can receive free dental sealants and fluoride treatments to help prevent cavities. The initiative is part of Delta Dental of Idaho’s Grins on the Go program.
Dental sealants protect the deep grooves on the back teeth, where about 90% of cavities in children develop. Fluoride varnish strengthens the smooth surfaces of teeth, providing additional protection against decay.
The Grins on the Go clinics are held on school grounds as part of Delta Dental of Idaho’s community outreach efforts.
To participate, students must be enrolled at Glenns Ferry and have a parent or guardian complete a health history and permission form. Forms are available through the school.
The program is completely free. Neither Medicaid nor private insurance will be billed, ensuring all students can access these preventive dental services at no cost.
