MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. — Ryerson & Associates, DMD, will offer free dental care to veterans on Friday, November 14, as a way to honor those who have served.
The dental office, located at 1013 E. Avalon Avenue, will host the event from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Veterans attending can receive one dental procedure at no cost. Services may include a cleaning, filling, or extraction.
To participate, veterans must present proof of military service, such as a DD214, Military ID, or NGB23 form.
Dr. Ryerson and the team at Ryerson & Associates said the initiative is their way of giving back to the community and showing appreciation for veterans’ sacrifices. The office encourages veterans in the area to take advantage of this opportunity.
The event aims to make dental care more accessible for those who have served, especially for individuals who may not have regular access to dental services. Organizers noted that maintaining oral health is a critical part of overall well-being, and they hope the initiative will promote healthier smiles among local veterans.
Veterans planning to attend are advised to arrive early, as appointments will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Office staff will be on hand to guide participants through the check-in process and ensure a smooth and timely experience.
This initiative is part of a broader effort in the Muscle Shoals area to support veterans. Local businesses and organizations have increasingly created programs to honor service members, offering services ranging from medical and dental care to employment assistance and community events.
By providing free dental care, Ryerson & Associates hopes to ease some of the financial burden that dental procedures can impose. For many veterans, out-of-pocket dental costs can be prohibitive, making access to even routine procedures a challenge. Programs like this provide an important resource and demonstrate community support for those who have served in the armed forces.
