In 2025, Dental Excellence of Bowling Green demonstrated its ongoing commitment to veterans and active-duty military personnel by organizing a special initiative that combined dental care with a heartfelt gesture for soldiers deployed overseas. The practice collected an impressive 430 pounds of candy, which was sent to service members stationed around the globe.
All candy donations, along with other collected care items, were delivered to the Vietnam Veterans of America chapter in Ann Arbor, Michigan. There, the items were carefully packaged before being shipped directly to men and women serving in the military. The effort ensured that troops far from home could receive a small but meaningful reminder of support from their communities.
The initiative coincided with Veterans Day, when Dental Excellence used the occasion to offer free dental services to members of the veteran community. Across all five of the practice’s locations, 40 veterans received complimentary dental care.
