Dental services on the Isle of Man have been moved again after Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital (RDCH) temporarily closed.
In December, Smile Dental Practice was relocated to Hillside Dental Practice due to a pest control issue in RDCH’s roof.
Manx Care has now confirmed that the service has been moved to the Central Community Health Centre in Douglas, operating within the Community Dental Service.
While some services at RDCH’s Martin Ward have recently resumed, the duration of Smile Dental Practice’s stay in Douglas has not been confirmed. Patients are urged to continue contacting the practice directly to manage appointments and enquiries.
To assist patients traveling from Ramsey, a shuttle bus will operate to the Central Community Health Centre on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
