The collaboration brings together Carestream Dental’s Easy Digital Denture solution with Leixir’s laboratory services to offer a seamless process for designing and fabricating dentures.
With this joint effort, users of cone-beam computed tomography technology can digitize denture cases in a single scan. This advance is expected to save time for dental professionals and provide greater convenience for patients who need dentures.
Once a scan is completed, cases can be uploaded directly to Leixir’s lab network. Leixir’s team then works on the design and fabrication of the denture, helping to streamline communication and reduce manual steps involved in the traditional denture process.
