Lanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) has announced adjustments to its outpatient and specialist service hours in conjunction with Fort Campbell No-Plan Day (DONSA) on Friday, January 16, and Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 19.
Some services will remain open or operate as scheduled. Soldier and patient-centered medical homes, including Air Assault Medical Center, Byrd Medical Center, Lapoant Medical Center, Screaming Hawk Medical Center, King Medical Center, and Young Hawk Medical Center, will continue to see patients. All mental health services and specialist clinics will also remain open. Dental services will be centralized at Epperley Dental Clinic.
The Town Centre Pharmacy, Main Pharmacy, Lapoant Pharmacy, and Screaming Hawk Pharmacy will remain open as usual.
BACH’s 24-hour services will remain fully open, including the emergency center, maternity wards, and all inpatient services. For emergency family assistance involving domestic violence, child abuse, or neglect, please call 270-798-8400 and contact the on-call social worker. All outpatient services will be closed this federal holiday.
Pregnant women with urgent needs are advised to seek medical attention according to their gestational age. Pregnant women less than 20 weeks pregnant should go to the emergency room, and those more than 20 weeks pregnant should go directly to the delivery room. The BACH Emergency Room will be open 24 hours a day.
Other support services will continue to be available. For non-life-threatening questions, call the TRICARE Nurse Support Line outside of business hours and on holidays. For medical emergencies, call 911.
Mental health support services are available 24/7. Patients can call the MHS Mental Health Resource Center, use the online chat service, call or text 988, or go to the nearest emergency room for emergency assistance.
Patients can also use the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal to communicate with the medical team and access their medical records. The portal is available to respond during business hours.
Patients can call the BACH appointment hotline to make appointments or cancel between 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. All outpatient services will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, January 20.
