Heartland Dental, the nation’s largest dental support organization, has launched the Orahh Care Dental Community, an opt-in network designed to unite supported doctors in advancing comprehensive oral care. The initiative provides a national platform while preserving the local identity of each practice.
“The Orahh Care Dental Community offers supported doctors a network committed to excellence while honoring their local roots,” said Pat Bauer, president and CEO of Heartland Dental.
The community enhances patient care by promoting continuity across participating practices and offering coordinated pathways for long-term oral health. For doctors, it encourages professional growth, collaboration, and innovation.
“The community unlocks new opportunities for patient engagement that were not previously available,” said Sherianne James, chief marketing officer. “By combining shared resources with local presence, supported doctors can reach more patients and deliver greater value.”
Heartland Dental plans to officially activate the Orahh Care Dental Community in Q1 2026, with additional information on participating practices to be shared at that time.
AARP Endorsement Highlights Commitment to Older Adults
The Orahh Care Dental Community has been recognized by AARP for its efforts to make oral care more accessible, particularly for adults aged 50 and older. Participating practices receive advanced training and digital diagnostic tools to identify issues early and tailor treatments to patients’ needs.
“AARP selected Heartland Dental for its commitment to improving oral health and patient experience for the 50+ population,” said Greg Marion, senior vice president at AARP Services. “The network of nearly 2,000 practices will enhance access and quality of care for our members.”
Bauer added, “Our partnership with AARP helps supported doctors reach and serve more patients, addressing the unique oral health needs of those over 50, including restorative care, periodontal treatment, and ongoing preventive services.”
The Orahh Care Dental Community will also focus on patient education, emphasizing the importance of good oral care and preventative treatments for older adults.
