DEXIS, a global leader in dental imaging, announced a partnership with France-based Circle One to broaden its chairside digital ecosystem. The collaboration lets clinicians export scans from DEXIS intraoral scanners directly to Circle One’s cloud platform via a dedicated API.
According to Robert Befidi, President of DEXIS, the integration creates a “seamless scan-to-plan workflow” that gives practitioners greater control over the patient experience and improves treatment planning at chairside.
Circle One’s cloud-based AI generates a functional prosthetic design in under a minute, the companies said. The design can be validated or adjusted without local installation or additional equipment, enabling rapid chairside decisions.
Sébastien Lenoir, CEO of Circle One, said DEXIS scanners powered by IS ScanFlow connected to Circle One will allow clinicians to design crowns, inlays, onlays, overlays and veneers in less than a minute. He added that the platform supports one-click export of designs to major milling and printing systems on the market.
The partners emphasized speed, simplicity and openness as core benefits. By linking scanning, AI-driven design and direct export to manufacturing devices, the integration aims to streamline same-day restorative workflows and reduce turnaround times for dental practices.
