Dental Checkups Held at NECK Clinic Under St. George Reesh Church and IDAK Partnership

With the generous support of St. George’s Syriac Orthodox Reesh Church in Kuwait, and in partnership with the Indian Dental Association of Kuwait (IDAK), a free dental screening camp was successfully held at Clinic C in NECK on September 26, 2025.

The event, part of the church’s ongoing community healthcare initiative, aims to raise awareness of oral health and provide convenient preventive dental care to church members.

A dedicated medical education team, led by Dr. E.T. Roy, Dr. Ancy Mathew, and Dr. Joshin Susan, conducted comprehensive oral health examinations, provided clinical consultations, and offered valuable guidance on maintaining good oral hygiene.

Supporting the team were a passionate team of medical education volunteers who coordinated and ensured a smooth event and provided personalized care to all participants.

Over one hundred parishioners benefited from the event, which included screenings for common dental issues such as cavities, gum disease, and oral hygiene problems. Educational materials on proper brushing techniques, diet, and preventive dental care were also distributed.

Dr. Ajay Vazhiyodan, Co-Chair of IDAK’s Continuing Welfare Committee (CWC), represented IDAK at the event and praised the volunteers for their dedication to community service.

In his remarks, Dr. Vazhiyodan emphasized the importance of regular dental checkups and the role of preventive care in maintaining overall health.

He expressed sincere gratitude to coordinators Jitha Justin, Cini Abbinson, Juby Bechu, and Dr. Jimmy Raju, whose tireless coordination and organizational support played a vital role in the success of the event.

The event concluded with a thank-you ceremony, where all the doctors, volunteers, and church members who contributed their time and expertise were thanked.

The organizers also reiterated their commitment to holding similar health events in the future to ensure that every member of the community has access to quality healthcare.
