A dental clinic in Colva was gutted in a fire on Saturday morning, causing damage estimated at Rs 4–5 lakh.
The blaze, which reportedly started in the reception area, destroyed furniture, computers, and other equipment.
Fire officials believe a short circuit or other electrical fault sparked the incident.
The Margao Fire Brigade rushed to the site and battled the flames for over an hour before bringing the situation under control.
Fire Officer Gill Souza confirmed that no injuries were reported, but the clinic suffered heavy property loss.
