Free Dental Clinic and Healthcare Services Coming to Erie in September

A two-day clinic offering free medical services to community residents will be held at the Erie Center for the Arts and Technology (650 East Street, Suite 120) on September 13th and 14th.

The event, a partnership between Remote Area Medical (RAM) and the Hamot Health Foundation, is open to all, with no insurance or identification required.

The clinic will provide comprehensive dental, vision, and primary care services. These services include routine physicals, well-women’s exams, cleanings, extractions, eye exams, and on-site prescription eyeglasses.

RAM emphasized in a statement that the clinic serves as a vital support for resource-limited communities, aiming to overcome barriers to accessing healthcare and transportation.

Parking will be open the evening of September 12th and remain available throughout the clinic. Visitors will receive detailed information upon arrival.

The clinic will begin accepting patients at 6:00 a.m. on September 13th, with services available on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. Hours will be shortened on September 14, and organizers advise patients to arrive early.
