Richmond Approves New Signage for Twickenham Dental Clinic

Richmond City Council recently approved a proposal to install new commercial signage at the former HSBC building on London Road in Twickenham.

The proposal, submitted by Sunny Dental director Sundeep Solanki, calls for new signage on the building’s facade, two prominent signage panels, and wall signage on the fourth floor.

The new clinic, to be called “Sunny Dental – Beauty & Wellness Clinic,” was submitted for planning by The Market Design and Build.

In its heritage statement, the agency stated: “We propose to replace the signage on the ground and top floors of the building at 2 London Road to reflect the new brand identity.”

Sunny Dental’s founder, Mr. Solanki, often known as Dr. Sunny, has over 14 years of clinical experience and holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Restorative Dentistry.

He emphasizes providing high-quality dental treatment to clients through “expertise, artistry, and compassion.” According to the clinic’s website, the new Twickenham branch is expected to open in December this year.

The previous HSBC branch in Twickenham closed on June 20, 2023, as part of the bank’s plan to close 114 branches across the UK.

The Market Design and Build stated that the design of the new clinic will preserve the character of the building and its surroundings while incorporating modern and sustainable elements, positively impacting the area’s cultural heritage.
