CareQuest Institute for Oral Health has announced the appointment of An Nguyen as its chief clinical officer. She joins the organisation from Clinica Family Health and Wellness, where she has served as chief dental officer since 2010.
In her new role, Dr Nguyen will join the executive leadership team, working with the chief executive officer to shape clinical strategy and support the organisation’s aim of improving access to and integration of oral healthcare. Her responsibilities will include leading clinical initiatives and advancing efforts to integrate oral health with general healthcare.
Dr Nguyen has extensive experience in delivering care to underserved communities, with nearly two decades in clinical practice and leadership. At Clinica Family Health and Wellness, she led interdisciplinary care models and supported initiatives in medical–dental integration and chronic disease management.
Her professional contributions also extend to national organisations. She is immediate past president of the National Network for Oral Health Access and chair-elect of the Dental Quality Alliance. In addition, she has served on Colorado’s Department of Health Care Policy and Financing Medical Services Board and has been involved with several professional bodies, including the American Dental Association.
Dr Nguyen holds a master of public health from Saint Louis University and a doctor of dental surgery degree from University of Tennessee.
