Any eligibility requirements applicable to a specific application period will be published prior to the application period opening.
If your initial assessment is due to expire, we recommend you allow sufficient time to renew it before the opening of the relevant examination application period. Please note that renewal applications may take up to 8 weeks to process.
If you are an eligible candidate, you will receive an email when the application period opens. If you believe you are eligible but have not received an email, please contact us via our contact page and ensure you select practical examination from the dropdown list as your area of enquiry.
If your passport or photograph expire, you will need to update new, valid documents to your profile before you can apply for an ADC examination.
Verification will happen in the weeks leading up to an examination period, and you can check the status on the identification page on ADC Connect.
To ensure documents are verified as quickly as possible, we respectfully ask you not to contact us to check when documents will be verified.
The closing time for written and practical applications is always 5pm Melbourne time (either AEDT or AEST depending on time of year).
