The denticles are formed by an exuberant growth of dental lamina, or by the formation of small enamel organs.
Complex Odontoma
Complex Odontoma is composed of haphazardly arranged dental tissue. This haphazardly arranged dental tissue does not resemble a normal tooth, instead, it often looks like a bulk of dental tissue. Over 70% of complex odontomas occur in the posterior region of the mandible.
