Aspen Group has appointed Michael Jimenez, DDS, and Armen Grigoryan, DDS, as Clinical Directors of Implant Support, the company announced. The pair will train and mentor Aspen Dental clinicians as the network expands implant services.
Dr. Jimenez, a U.S. Army veteran, joined the Aspen Dental network nearly nine years ago and formerly owned multiple practices in Columbia, South Carolina.
His offices helped pilot innovations such as digital dentures, guided implant surgery, and locator-fixed solutions. He began focused implant training in 2020 under Sundeep Rawal, DMD, and later joined the faculty at the TAG Oral Care Center for Excellence. In his new role he will support Aspen Dental practices in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia.
Dr. Grigoryan brings more than 12 years with Aspen Dental as a partner and practice owner. He holds dental degrees from Armenia and the United States, completed advanced implant training at the University of Florida, and is a certified Zest Locator Master for removable and fixed full-arch restorations.
A Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists since 2016, he speaks four languages and is learning a fifth. Dr. Grigoryan will support Aspen Dental practices in Florida.
Both doctors will provide guidance through TAG University and the TAG Oral Care Center for Excellence, offering chairside mentorship and training that span diagnosis through implant delivery.
Their duties include building clinicians’ technical skills and clinical confidence as patient demand for permanent tooth-replacement options grows.
