Bandipora Authorities Shut Down Unlicensed Dental Clinic Over Health Violations

The Bandipora Municipal Corporation has ordered the immediate closure of a dental clinic located behind the Kadim Market for violating mandatory health regulations and lacking the necessary permits.

Health officials inspected the clinic and found it lacked the necessary infrastructure required by public health guidelines and did not employ qualified staff. As a result, the clinic has been sealed until further notice.

Officials have instructed the clinic’s owner to complete all legal formalities and obtain necessary approvals before being allowed to reopen. Until then, the clinic will remain closed.

The health department emphasized that such inspections will be rolled out district-wide to ensure strict adherence to medical standards and safeguard public health.

An official involved in the inspection noted, “This operation is part of a broader effort to enforce health protocols and ensure that only properly licensed and well-equipped clinics operate.”
