Crest has launched a leave-on teeth whitening treatment called Crest Whitening Emulsions. The treatment comes in a built-in applicator or wand applicator form and is easy to apply, the company said. It consists of a water-resistant base that protects users from sensitive reactions to whitening. The acquisition enables Smash to launch new oral care products under the miBrite brand. Purchase price and other sale details were not released.

Biolase webinar on lasers and managing periodontitis draws interest

Biolase announced that approximately 400 dental professionals attended a September panel discussion about a July study on the company’s Repair Perio laser for periodontitis management.
