Dandy Launches Advanced Digital Dentures for Government Insurance

On July 9, 2025, Dandy announced the launch of a high-end denture solution designed for government health insurance program pricing. This denture kit that meets health insurance reimbursement standards uses a two-appointment digital workflow and can be completed in less than 10 days, providing patients with a more convenient treatment experience while significantly saving dentists’ treatment time.

The program is aimed at Medicaid beneficiaries and other patients with low-reimbursement insurance plans (including federal and state insurance plans), providing Dandy’s well-known Signature series dentures.

Signature dentures are known for their excellent durability, wear resistance and aesthetics. They use Lucitone-certified high-quality resins and flexible partial materials, are made in the United States and come with a 5-year warranty.

The program supports full dentures, partial dentures and digital scan-based restorations, without the need for traditional restoration kits, multiple visits or trips to the laboratory, greatly simplifying the process.

“In the past, many patients could not afford high-quality dentures, and the process was cumbersome, often requiring five or more visits,” said Daniel Hanover, co-founder of Dandy.

With automation technologies such as artificial intelligence, digital scanning, and 3D printing, we have significantly improved efficiency, ensuring the quality of dentures, while also providing a better experience and more efficient workflow for patients and clinics.”

Dandy’s fully digital process starts with intraoral scanning, eliminating the need for traditional physical impressions, and provides industry-leading scanning equipment to partner clinics free of charge. The scan data and related annotations are then electronically transmitted to Dandy.

Dentists then collaborate with Dandy’s lab technicians in a 3D virtual workspace to ensure accurate production and approval of each case. If dentists need to mail wax models, they can still enjoy the benefits of real-time collaboration and a digital process.

Dr. Green of Twin Buttes Dental, who used this process, said: “The patient was very happy with the final result, with excellent esthetics, occlusion, vertical degree of retention (VDO), lip line and midline.”
