Kansas residents who need dental care will be able to receive free treatment next week when the Kansas Mission of Mercy (KMOM) hosts its annual large-scale dental clinic in Manhattan.
The two-day clinic will take place January 30–31, 2026, at the Kansas National Guard Armory. Patients of all ages will be treated at no cost.
Organized by the Kansas Dental Charitable Foundation (KDCF), KMOM is one of the largest charitable health programs in the state. Since launching in 2003, the initiative has provided free dental services to more than 33,500 patients, with care valued at over $23 million. The program relies on volunteer dentists, hygienists, and community partners from across Kansas.
Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Services will focus on urgent dental needs, including extractions, fillings, and professional cleanings. No insurance, proof of income, or prior dental records are required, ensuring access for individuals who may otherwise be unable to receive care.
Organizers expect to serve about 750 patients during the two-day event. Volunteers and community partners will also provide food and logistical support to help the clinic operate smoothly.
The clinic is open to all residents, though organizers advise attendees to arrive early and be prepared for long wait times due to high demand.
