The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a nationwide recall of approximately 84,764 bottles of Parodontax Active Gum Health Mouthwash due to labeling concerns.
The recall affects 16.9-ounce bottles in the standard mint flavor with lot code “0665363” and an expiration date of “08/31/2027.”
Some bottles may have missing or illegible lot and expiration codes, increasing the risk that consumers could use the product past its expiration date.
The FDA classified this as a Class III recall, indicating that exposure to the product is unlikely to cause adverse health effects.
Consumers who have the recalled mouthwash should contact their place of purchase for a refund or replacement.
