Free Back-to-School Dental Clinic Returns to Serve Community Children

The fourth annual “Free Back-to-School Health Clinic” is returning, providing essential health support for children to start the new school year smoothly.

The free clinic will be held at McKinley Elementary School from noon to 6:30 p.m. this Thursday, open to families from Muscatine and surrounding areas.

On the day, children will receive a variety of free services, including:

Dental exams

Fluoride application

Vision screenings

Lead testing

Developmental screenings for children aged 0 to 5 years

Organizers emphasize that due to high demand, parents are advised to register in advance to ensure access.

In addition, staff will be onsite to answer questions for parents, and several community partners will be invited to provide program information and family support resources. This dental clinic not only focuses on children’s oral health, but also strives to create a more comprehensive health support platform for families in the community.
