White City, OR – Residents of Southern Oregon can receive free dental hygiene screenings while supporting the education of future dental professionals. Rogue Community College’s Dental Hygiene Clinic will offer complimentary screenings from March 30 to April 4, 2026, at its Table Rock Campus in White City. Evening and Saturday appointments are available to accommodate busy schedules.
The clinic provides a hands-on training environment for students in the college’s Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting programs. During screening week, participants will receive an initial oral health assessment, including a review of teeth and gums and personalized recommendations for preventive care. The program aims to identify oral health issues early and guide participants in maintaining proper oral hygiene.
All screenings are performed by students under the supervision of licensed dental professionals. This setup allows students to gain essential real-world experience, build confidence, and develop skills in patient evaluation and preventive care counseling.
Participants may also be eligible for additional low-cost services later in the term, such as dental X-rays, sealants, fluoride treatments, and teeth whitening procedures. These services are offered at reduced rates because of the educational nature of the program.
Appointments are required, and availability is limited. Residents interested in participating are encouraged to schedule early.
