Residents across the Coachella Valley can receive free dental services and other comprehensive healthcare this week as California CareForce hosts a multi-day clinic at the Empire Polo Club grounds in Indio.
The clinic operates daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through March 1. Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. No insurance, proof of income or other documentation is required.
Organizers are offering a broad range of dental services, including X-rays, cleanings, fillings and extractions. Vision care is also available. Patients can receive eye exams and, if needed, have prescription glasses made onsite the same day.
Medical providers are conducting general health evaluations, blood pressure screenings, glucose testing and other basic preventive care services.
The Pink Journey Foundation will provide free mammograms on Friday and Saturday. Those seeking mammograms must present a valid photo ID.
Due to expected high demand, organizers advise patients to arrive early. Individuals are also encouraged to bring a list of current medications to help healthcare professionals deliver accurate and effective treatment.
The event is designed to expand access to essential healthcare for individuals and families across the region, particularly those who may face barriers to care.
