Jordan Valley Community Health Center (JVCHC) recently completed the first phase of an expansion and renovation project at its Kingsley Dental Clinic.
This two-phase project aims to significantly increase capacity for children and adults with special dental care needs.
The expansion increases the clinic’s treatment capacity from four dental operators to 25 state-of-the-art treatment rooms, providing more patients with immediate, compassionate dental care close to home.
“We are committed to providing high-quality, accessible care for everyone,” said Dr. Matthew Stinson, CEO of Jordan Valley.
“This investment in the Springfield/Kingsley clinic ensures that more families—especially those with sensory sensitivities or special medical needs—can receive the dental care they deserve in an inclusive and supportive environment.”
The newly designed clinic environment is sensitive to patients’ emotional and sensory needs and features sensory-friendly features such as soothing bubble walls, fiber-optic carpeting, and noise-canceling headphones, creating a reassuring experience for patients with sensory processing disorders or anxiety.
Expanded dental services include:
Comprehensive pediatric dental care for infants and toddlers through adolescents
Specialized services for children and adolescents, including sedation dentistry and behavioral support
Specialized dental services for adults with complex or special medical needs
Physicians currently accepting new patients include:
Dr. Anna Price: Pediatric dentist with expertise in behavioral management, pediatric restorative dentistry, and sedation dentistry
Dr. Derek Smith: General dentist with extensive experience caring for adults with special needs
Dr. Bethany Anders: General dentist with adult support and specialty care services
Dr. Shannon White: Pediatric dentist with expertise in behavioral management, pediatric restorative dentistry, and sedation dentistry
Jordan Valley Health Center recommends that parents schedule their child’s first dental visit within six months of their first tooth erupting to establish a healthy oral foundation, prevent early dental problems, and foster good oral hygiene habits.
