Kuraray Noritake Dental Inc., a global leader in dental materials, has launched KATANA Zirconia ONE For IMPLANT at Dentsply Sirona World (DS World). Designed for CEREC systems, the new pre-sintered zirconia block allows clinicians to create either hybrid abutment crowns or hybrid abutments from a single block, streamlining workflows and saving time.
Built on Kuraray Noritake’s proprietary multi-layer technology, the block features four graduated zirconia layers that mimic the natural shading of teeth. This enables chairside fabrication of restorations in natural tooth colors without additional sintering, making the process faster and more efficient.
The zirconia powder is developed in-house, giving the company precise control over grain size and sintering temperature.
This ensures consistent quality and performance for every case. With a flexural strength of approximately 932 MPa, the material delivers durable restorations capable of withstanding everyday dental function while maintaining aesthetic appeal.

The block includes an integrated access hole for easy connection to TiBase components and is available in two sizes, S and L, to suit different implant cases. Hybrid abutment crowns offer a streamlined, screw-retained solution for most cases, while separate hybrid abutments with crowns provide flexibility for complex, non-parallel implant placements.
