Lala Kent Undergoes Second Breast Augmentation After Capsular Contracture Complications

Reality TV star Lala Kent underwent her second breast augmentation in four years on Monday following complications from capsular contracture, a condition where scar tissue hardens, causing pain and implant distortion.

The 35-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum, who has 3.2 million social media followers, shared a photo of her medical ID bracelet under her birth name, Lauren Elyse Burningham, on Instagram Story, captioned: “Good morning. It’s time!”

Kent revealed on her podcast Untraditionally Lala that her 2022 implants were distorted after giving birth to her 18-month-old daughter, Sosa Kent, via intrauterine insemination. She described her right breast as “concaved on one side” and moving toward her collarbone.

On the October 15 episode of the podcast, Kent said she had chosen a “world-renowned” female plastic surgeon specializing in capsular contracture. “They’re basically doing reconstructive surgery,” she explained, adding that technology would help determine the best implant size.

Kent defended her decision to undergo the procedure, acknowledging critics who may advise against implants. “I refuse to have my nipples down to my belly button, okay?” she said.

The Bravo personality has also undergone otoplasty, microneedling, Botox, and lip fillers. Kent is recovering at her $3.1 million San Fernando Valley home with her mother, Lisa Burningham, while her ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett, cares for their five-year-old daughter, Ocean, and recently celebrated her birthday with multiple themed cakes.

Kent, who ended her three-year relationship with Emmett in 2021 amid cheating allegations, continues her media career. She and Tom Schwartz have been promoted to full-time cast members for season three of the The Valley spin-off, set to premiere April 1 on Bravo.

Kent first gained fame as a hostess at Lisa Vanderpump’s SUR in 2015 and starred in seven seasons of the RHOBH spin-off before its recast in season 12.
