LAS VEGAS, NV — All Star Kidz Dental is highlighting its Specialized Care Program, designed to deliver comprehensive dental services for kids with autism, developmental disabilities and other special healthcare needs across the Las Vegas area.
The program was created to address a gap in pediatric dental care, as many special needs children face challenges receiving appropriate treatment at large corporate clinics. All Star Kidz Dental operates as a smaller practice, allowing its team to provide individualized, patient-centered care.
The clinic is led by Dr. Lamb, a board-certified pediatric dentist and diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He said special needs patients often require additional time, patience and emotional support during dental visits.
“Special needs children need more than technical skill,” Dr. Lamb said. “They need understanding, flexibility and a team that can adapt care to each child instead of using a one-size-fits-all approach.”
The Specialized Care Program offers multiple sedation options based on a child’s age, temperament and treatment requirements. These include nitrous oxide, conscious sedation using customized medications, and general anesthesia coordinated with dental anesthesiologists when necessary. The office is fully credentialed to provide these services, reducing the need for hospital-based treatment.
Staff members bring both professional training and personal experience in special needs care, including team members with family members who have autism or developmental disabilities. The practice emphasizes building trust through clear communication, gradual introductions to dental equipment, and allowing parents to remain with their children during procedures.
Families from across the Las Vegas metropolitan area — including Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin and Centennial Hills — seek out the clinic for its specialized approach and reputation for compassionate care.
The program accepts all major insurance plans, including Medicaid, to ensure services remain accessible. The practice also offers extended availability and responds to patient concerns outside regular business hours.
Dr. Lamb completed his pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2013 and achieved board certification at the earliest opportunity, the highest credential in his specialty.
