Liberty Dental Plan of Florida is set to host a Week of Service from October 9 to October 19, delivering free dental care and education throughout the state. The initiative targets pregnant women, foster youth, seniors, and individuals with special needs, providing dental screenings, treatment, and oral health resources.
In addition to hands-on care, Liberty will offer both in-person and virtual educational programs to promote oral health awareness. As part of its workforce support, the company will also award scholarships to two dental hygienists, reinforcing its commitment to the dental profession.
“We’re creating opportunities for people to access the care and education they need to achieve better health outcomes,” said Stefanie Gaspard, community and external affairs liaison at Liberty. “Oral health is deeply connected to overall well-being, and we’re working to make sure it’s recognized as such.”
To reach communities statewide, Liberty will provide mobile and on-site dental services in collaboration with local organizations and providers. The program will cover all nine regions of Florida, as defined by the Florida Statewide Medicaid Managed Care program.
This initiative highlights Liberty’s ongoing efforts to make dental care more accessible while raising awareness of the critical link between oral health and overall wellness.
