Milton Park’s new Signal Yard development has secured its first anchor tenant. Damira Dental Studios will open a flagship practice at the site, offering NHS care for up to 6,000 patients as well as private treatments.
The multi-million-pound project is designed as a community hub for the science and business park. It will bring together food, fitness, health and everyday services, serving not only businesses based at Milton Park but also residents in Abingdon, Didcot and nearby villages.
A New Destination
Construction of Signal Yard is due to finish at the end of 2025, with a full opening planned for 2026. The scheme will include 17 units, most of which are already let or under offer. Tenants will range from cafés and restaurants to fitness providers, healthcare operators and convenience services.
The hub will stay open into evenings and weekends, with landscaped gardens and an outdoor events area for community activities.
Dental Care Boost
Damira Dental Studios, founded in Oxford in 2003 and now operating 42 practices across London and the South, will launch one of its most advanced clinics at Signal Yard in late 2025.
The practice will provide NHS and private care, including routine check-ups, preventive treatments, Invisalign, implants and children’s clinics during school holidays.
Chief executive Anushika Brogan said the site’s mix of services and central location would make it an “ideal, accessible” choice for patients across southern Oxfordshire.
Travel And Access
Signal Yard is being developed with sustainable transport in mind. Plans include EV charging bays, cycle storage, showers and direct access to local bus services. Milton Park has also partnered with Thames Travel to encourage public transport use.
