NOBS Hydroxyapatite Tooth Paste Tops TikTok Sales as Fluoride-Free Option Gains Traction

NEW YORK, Dec. 25, 2025 (EZ Newswire) — NOBS Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste has emerged as a leading player in the oral care market, driven by rapid growth on social commerce platforms and strong consumer demand for non-toxic alternatives to fluoride products.

The brand has become the No. 1-selling toothpaste on TikTok Shop, processing nearly one million orders through the platform. This momentum has also pushed NOBS into the top 15 of Amazon’s highly competitive toothpaste category, reflecting a broader shift toward fluoride-free oral care options.

NOBS positions its hydroxyapatite toothpaste tablets as a scientifically validated alternative to traditional fluoride toothpastes. Unlike many fluoride-free brands that rely on marketing trends, NOBS cites independent research to support its claims.

An independent study conducted in partnership with the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at the University of Texas evaluated NOBS toothpaste tablets containing 5% nano-hydroxyapatite against conventional sodium fluoride toothpaste.

The study found the tablets to be equally effective in preventing tooth demineralization. Researchers also observed reduced enamel loss and strong protective performance in microbial testing, suggesting no loss of cavity protection when switching from fluoride.

Hydroxyapatite, a mineral that makes up the majority of human tooth enamel, works by mimicking natural enamel repair. It releases calcium and phosphate ions that help fill microscopic enamel defects and strengthen tooth surfaces. According to the company, this process also helps reduce tooth sensitivity.

NOBS offers its toothpaste in tablet form, eliminating plastic tubes and reducing packaging waste. Each tablet delivers a consistent, dentist-recommended dose.

The brand’s formulation excludes fluoride, parabens, charcoal, and other ingredients it considers potentially harmful. Co-founder and dental expert Dr. Choai said the goal is to prioritize safety and transparency in oral care products.

This approach has supported expansion into family-focused products. NOBS Kids Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste is currently the top-selling children’s toothpaste on TikTok Shop and ranks within the top 10 on Amazon. The company attributes this success to parental concerns about fluoride ingestion and dental fluorosis.

To broaden its appeal, NOBS has introduced new flavors, including Blueberry and Cinnamon, aimed at improving compliance and user experience.

With nearly two million total orders and growing clinical support, NOBS has helped move hydroxyapatite toothpaste from a niche product into the mainstream oral care market.
