Palm Beach State College unveiled a $68 million Dental Health and Health Innovation Building on its Dennis P. Gallon campus on Tuesday.
The high-tech facility is designed to prepare students for careers in dental science, surgical services, and physical therapy assisting.
The new building features a virtual reality lab, 3D dissection tools, and a simulated operating room, giving students hands-on experience with modern clinical techniques.
College administrators say this training will help graduates secure high-demand, high-paying jobs in the healthcare field.
The project will also expand Palm Beach State College’s dental clinic, which already sees more than 3,000 patients annually. College leaders say the expanded clinic will enhance the college’s ability to provide affordable health care to the local community.
College officials added that the facility will strengthen Palm Beach County’s health care workforce while improving access to affordable services. The college hopes the building will serve as both an educational center and a community resource for years to come.
