A new dental clinic is slated to open in La Ronge by the end of 2026, spearheaded by Dr. Gary Houseman, a dentist from Saskatoon.
Houseman is currently overseeing the construction of a 4,000+ square foot building in downtown La Ronge to house the clinic. This new venture will expand his existing operations, which already include two dental practices in Saskatoon.
In addition to managing the clinic, Houseman plans to practice dentistry in La Ronge but intends to hire an associate dentist to handle day-to-day operations once the clinic is up and running.
For Houseman, the project is both a personal and professional endeavor. Originally from La Ronge, he continues to visit the area regularly and recognizes a significant demand for dental services.
The new building will also feature two commercial spaces for lease—one approximately 1,800 square feet and the other around 1,600 square feet. Houseman points out that La Ronge has limited new commercial developments, making this project an important addition to the local business landscape.
Looking forward to returning to his roots, Houseman is excited to provide essential dental care to the community upon the clinic’s completion.
