Sensodyne India Launches ‘Know Your Dental Age’ Campaign to Promote Preventive Oral Health

Sensodyne, the leading oral care brand from Haleon, has launched its nationwide ‘Know Your Dental Age’ campaign, a pioneering initiative aimed at raising awareness about proactive oral health care in India. With nine out of ten Indians experiencing dental issues, most of whom seek treatment only after severe symptoms appear, the campaign emphasizes prevention and early intervention.

Through the campaign, Sensodyne has introduced the Dental Age Test, a unique tool designed to help individuals assess whether their teeth are aging faster than expected. Accessible via a simple QR scan, the test identifies potential oral health concerns and provides actionable steps to maintain dental well-being, empowering individuals to take timely measures for better oral hygiene.

The campaign was inaugurated in New Delhi by Smt. Anupriya Patel, Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers, alongside Dr. Ashok Dhoble, Honorary General Secretary of the Indian Dental Association (IDA), and Kedar Lele, CEO India and President India Subcontinent, Haleon. The launch highlighted the importance of public-private collaboration in advancing oral health across the country.

In an innovative outreach effort, Sensodyne is extending Dental Age screenings to select Vande Bharat Express routes, bringing oral health check-ups to commuters and reaching approximately one million people across India.

Speaking at the launch, Smt. Anupriya Patel said, “Oral health is fundamental to overall well-being, yet awareness and timely action remain limited. Initiatives like Sensodyne’s innovative Dental Age Test are integral to bringing preventive care closer to people and encouraging early intervention. Building a healthier, more informed India requires collective effort, and safeguarding oral health is a shared national responsibility.”

The campaign features a 360° multimedia approach, including print, digital, influencer engagement, and on-ground activations. Partnering with dental experts, fitness communities, and quick-commerce platforms, Sensodyne aims to make the Dental Age Test accessible to as many people as possible.
