Kim Minji, a cast member of Solo Hell Season 5, has directly addressed rumors surrounding plastic surgery, clarifying that she has not undergone surgical procedures but has received cosmetic fillers.
On February 28, Kim uploaded a video titled “Solo Hell 5 Q&A: Kim Minji Who Went Crazy When Asked to Do Q&A” to her YouTube channel, where she responded to questions from fans and discussed the sudden attention she received following the show.
“I am grateful for the overwhelming love and interest,” Kim said at the start of the video, acknowledging the surge of public attention after the program aired.
One of the most frequently asked questions concerned speculation about plastic surgery. A viewer asked whether she had undergone procedures after noticing rumors circulating online. Kim firmly denied the claims, stating, “I genuinely did not undergo plastic surgery.”
However, she addressed the circulation of older photos that fueled the speculation. Kim explained that the images were taken when she had just begun orthodontic treatment, which caused her mouth to appear more protruded than it does today.
“At the time, I had just started orthodontics, so my mouth looked more protruding,” she said, adding that she was also surprised when she first saw the photos resurfacing online.
