Malm?, Sweden — Oral care brand TePe has launched the TePe EasyFit, a new interdental brush designed to provide a simpler solution for cleaning between teeth for those who still use floss or toothpicks.
The company claims the product adapts to various interdental spaces, making daily cleaning easier for users and fostering long-term healthier habits.
TePe says the EasyFit, with its slim, tapered design and extended brush head, reaches areas difficult to reach with a regular toothbrush, gently removing plaque and maintaining oral health.
Sanjay Haryana, Senior Clinical and Educational Advisor at TePe, noted, “Many existing tapered interdental brushes are short and only slightly tapered.
The TePe EasyFit, on the other hand, is a longer, more defined interdental brush that can fit into wider spaces and improve patient comfort. The soft brush head makes it easier to insert into interdental spaces, making the first step of interdental brushing even easier.”
Regarding the importance of daily oral hygiene, Haryana further emphasized the limitations of brushing coverage: “Since brushing only covers approximately 60% of the tooth surface, leaving 40% of plaque unreached, simplifying interdental cleaning is crucial.
The TePe EasyFit helps patients adhere to oral hygiene recommendations, reduces discomfort, and encourages healthy habits.”
To ensure product suitability, TePe conducted consumer research in Sweden, Germany, Australia, the UK, and the Netherlands, and engaged dental professionals, particularly hygienists, for repeated testing during the development process.
The final product is available in two simplified sizes (S/M and M/L) and features a longer working length, making it easier for users to choose the right size and build confidence.
Regarding production and environmental protection, TePe stated that EasyFit is manufactured at the company’s headquarters in Malm?, Sweden, using 100% renewable electricity, with over 10% coming from the company’s own solar power facility.
The handle and lid are made from ISCC PLUS-certified recycled materials, and the packaging is plastic-free and made from FSC?-certified paper, meeting the needs of sustainability-conscious consumers.
TePe EasyFit is scheduled to launch in Sweden in October 2025 and will be available in pharmacies and dental clinics, followed by online sales. Other markets are expected to follow in 2026.
TePe will also provide educational and inspirational content on establishing and maintaining healthy oral care habits in conjunction with its global campaign.
