Dentsply Sirona has launched the MIS LYNX in the US market. With this, dental professionals can benefit from a system that features an implant with a wet surface, sharp and sterile single-use drills in every implant package, and a large prosthetic range. A versatile and reliable choice for a wide range of clinical applications, the MIS LYNX’s dimension range and prosthetic line match that of the MIS C1 implants. It was also designed for sufficient primary stability in different bone qualities and in immediate placement in extraction sockets.1
Available immediately, this comprehensive solution combines a thoughtful design with cost-effectiveness, offering excellent value to clinicians and patients alike.
XD single-use drills
MIS provides sharp and sterile drills with each implant, designed for single use. As the MIS XD drills are sterile, this ensures that strict clinical hygiene protocols for clinicians and patients can be followed, eliminating the need for pre-surgery sterilization.
“We are thrilled to bring MIS LYNX to the dental professionals in the US,” said Rodrigo Canelhas, group vice-president for implants and prosthetic solutions at Dentsply Sirona. “Clinicians can rely on this innovative solution to achieve results across diverse clinical scenarios, enhancing their practice and giving them greater confidence in patient care. It also shows our unwavering commitment to meeting the needs of dental professionals through premium-quality implants at a cost-effective price point.”
MIS CLEAR surface
CLEAR is the brand name of MIS wet implants; they are immersed in an isotonic saline solution, maintaining their quality from production to placement.
Bench-testing studies have demonstrated that when implants are packaged in this solution:
- It lowers the carbon levels on the implant surface, compared to “dry” implants2;
- Its wet surface is maintained throughout its shelf life3;
- There is a higher mineralisation of calcium phosphate minerals, compared to “dry” implants4;
- There is a presence of titanium oxide nano-structures on the surface of the implants.5
“With over 10 years of experience using the MIS system, I see LYNX as a natural evolution,” said Dr Gustavo Giordani, a Dentsply Sirona speaker and educator from Sao Paolo, Brazil. “I am impressed by the quality of the prosthetic components and the drills. Small details, like sterilised and sharp burrs, make our work as clinicians easier.”
For over 30 years, MIS has been at the forefront of implant dentistry, offering advanced products that prioritise clinical excellence and innovation. With the launch of MIS LYNX, the company has reaffirmed its dedication to empowering dental professionals to deliver predictable outcomes with confidence.
