Roane State Offers No-Cost Dental Checkups for Kids at Its Oak Ridge Campus This March

Roane State Community College has announced a free dental clinic for children between the ages of four and twelve at its Oak Ridge campus. The clinic aims to help children get necessary dental care, especially those who may have limited access to regular dental services.

The clinic is located in the Coffey/McNally Building at 701 Briarcliff Avenue. It is open to the public from Monday to Thursday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., and on Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The program will run throughout the month of March, offering a range of dental services to young patients.

Children who visit the clinic will receive dental cleanings, X-rays, and fluoride treatments at no cost. These preventive services are important for protecting the health of children’s teeth and helping them build good dental habits early in life.

Families interested in making an appointment can call the clinic directly to schedule a visit. The initiative is designed to benefit both the local community and students in the college’s dental program by providing a valuable, hands-on learning experience.

The dental clinic is part of Roane State’s efforts to support community health while giving practical experience to future dental professionals. Organizers encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity and ensure their children receive essential dental care.
