Guardian members whose plans include coverage for oral exams now have access to emergency teledentistry visits 24/7 with the platform, according to a May 31 news release.
Patients can use the virtual service when they are having a dental emergency and do not have a dentist; need access to a dentist after hours; or need a consultation without leaving home or while traveling. After their virtual visit, TeleDentistry.com will refer them to a local, in-network dentist for any further treatment.
