ST. PAUL, Minn. & SCHAAN, Liechtenstein–(BUSINESS WIRE)–July 19, 2012 — 3M and Ivoclar Vivadent announced today that they have settled their respective lawsuits in Germany and the United States.
The Ivoclar Vivadent suits alleged that 3M Filtek™ composite dental restoratives infringed its patents. Ivoclar Vivadent voluntarily withdrew its German and US patent infringement suits against 3M prompting the settlement. These actions settle a 6-month lawsuit between the parties.
