The American Dental Association (ADA) has named Alliant Insurance Services Inc. as its new broker for member insurance programs.
Under the brand ADA Insurance Brokered by Alliant and underwritten by Protective, the program offers coverage designed exclusively for dentists and dental students.
Available plans include term life, level term, and universal life insurance, as well as disability income protection, office overhead expense disability, hospital indemnity, and critical illness coverage.
In addition, ADA student members can access term life and disability protection during their dental school years.
“Insurance is vital to the security and peace of mind of dental professionals,” said Craig Herre, D.D.S., vice chair of the ADA Council on Members Insurance and Retirement Programs, which selected Alliant as the new broker.
“Many of us have witnessed how a colleague’s disability or unexpected death can severely affect their family and financial stability.”
Current ADA-insured members do not need to take any action, as existing coverage will remain in place.
